Corresponds to a one-semester course in social psychology. The examination measures knowledge and understanding of the theories and principles of social psychology and the ability to apply this information to everyday life examples. Knowledge and understanding of research methods in psychology is assumed. Students will be expected to demonstrate basic knowledge of research methods (types of design, validity, and ethical concerns); comprehension of major theories and phenomena within social psychology; and the ability to apply this knowledge to examples of social psychology events in everyday life.
