Coursera: University Spotlight: Take Courses from the #1 Business School in Europe
We offer Business & Management courses from universities around the world, including courses from the newest universities to join Coursera. These courses cover everything from business strategy and leadership to finance and operations management. Today, we’d like to share a little more information about IE Business School in Spain, which was ranked the #1 business school in Europe by the Financial Times last year! IE is dedicated to educating business leaders around the world, with core values of global focus, entrepreneurial spirit, and a humanistic approach to learning. They have an international faculty with more than 500 professors; and their alumni (numbering more than 40,000) hold management positions in 100+ countries around the world.The two courses IE currently lists are Critical Perspectives on Management (which will begin in Fall 2013) and Undertaking Economic Policymaking (start date to be announced).

Coursera: Please create calendar events for each course. As a working professional, I create manually calendar events for my courses, I have enrolled for the coming months. It would be great if you can create google calendar/ iCal events for us.

Some people hear the phrase “online education” and think it refers to engineering, programming, math and science courses. If you’ve ever browsed our course list, you’ll notice that we offer a neat group of humanities courses, ranging from history to literature. We’ve also been working with some of the most well-known universities that specialize in the arts and music.
