You now have more opportunities to pitch and accelerate your business ideas through Coursera. Our popular course, Developing Innovative Ideas: The First Step in Entrepreneurship is getting a facelift and re-releasing in collaboration with 500Startups and the U.S. Department of Commerce. Here’s what you can expect from the new experience in the Specialization in order to build your own venture concept. Get funded. In a sequence of three 4-week courses, learners will evaluate and understand how innovation plays a role in business opportunities. Then, with a final project, learners will create a business plan and pitch deck in collaboration with 500Startups—an investment fund and business accelerator based in Silicon Valley—who have provided capital to more than 700 companies around the world.
