Coursera: High Tech High provides cutting edge strategies to teachers
High Tech High joins Coursera today to launch the on-demand course, How to Teach Us to provide teachers around the world with contemporary strategies to integrate in their educational environments. High Tech High began in 2000 as a single charter high school launched by a coalition of San Diego business leaders and educators. It has evolved into an integrated network of schools spanning grades K-12, housing a comprehensive teacher certification program and a new, innovative Graduate School of Education. How to Teach Us: This course is designed to give teachers a glimpse into the best practices implemented at High Tech High from the perspective of the students. Learners will look at individual examples of significant learnings, the day-to-day schedule the students follow, and the assessment strategies the students engage in to show their learning development.
