Coursera: Jerry Charumilind is a Courserian!
Editor’s note: Jerry is a newly hired Backend Engineer. He went to Brown University for his Sc.B. in Computer Science and was most recently at TiVo, working on a few different R&D projects. To help you get to know him, we asked a few questions… What was the most fun course you ever took? CS0004 - Introduction to Scientific Computing and Problem Solving. I took this class during my first year at Brown University, and it was my introduction to the idea that there was more to computing than playing games and reading e-mail. This small nudge developed into the shove that pushed me off the path to medical school and in to Silicon Valley. What are the top three Coursera courses you want to take? Statistics One- We’re surrounded by mountains of data these days. I’d simply like to better understand what it is all saying.
