Interested in taking AP Biology, or an advanced biology course, but unsure if you are ready? This is the course for you!
This short course will briefly review basic concepts covered in AP Biology, and will include advanced challenge questions. Starting with a review of genetics and related content, the course will prepare you to tackle Investigation 2 and 3 of the AP Biology curriculum. You will learn how to create a mathematical model of populations and be able to compare DNA and Protein sequences using BLAST. The students who complete this mini-course will be better prepared to tackle more advanced course material in the future.

Do I need to buy a textbook?
Generally, no. Having access to an introductory-level biology textbook would be useful; However, the course will refer you to various free online resources if you need more review of a particular concept.
Will this course prepare me for the AP Biology Exam?
No. The purpose of the course is to help you achieve success in the AP Biology course that you will be taking subsequently.
Does it cost anything to take this course?
No. The course is completely free. However, if you want to obtain a verified certificate, there is a small fee involved.

This short course is intended for the high-school students who have taken an introductory-level physics course, acquired some background in Mechanics and intend to take a more advanced course – for instance, AP Physics C. The course helps the students refresh and strengthen their fluency with the mathematical tools and the fundamental topics in Mechanics: Kinematics, Newton’s laws and Laws of Conservation. The last unit of the course contains a comprehensive Final Exam. The students who completed this mini-course will be well-prepared to tackle more advanced course material in the fall.

Students who enroll in the French Language and Culture AP® class must be ready to engage right from the beginning of the year in oral and written communication. In this computer science course, we will take you through the deployment process of migrating your email system to Office 365 using the FastTrack center – a benefit for organizations larger than 150 seats. One Health, One Medicine: A Global Health Approach is a course for anyone interested in health, including: medicine, veterinary medicine, public health, life sciences, environmental health, health management and international health. The One Health One Medicine concept is changing the way we perceive and tackle the world’s health problems. How can governments become more open and transparent, while simultaneously dealing with various challenges, such as data sensitivity? How can open government data be made available to improve public policy making? Which technologies are available to make governments more open and use open government data?
Governments all over the world aim to become more open and transparent in order to establish closer ties with their constituents. However, releasing government data involves complex challenges and poses two major concerns. First, many different participants are involved and there are various dependencies between them, and second, the technologies that support open government are fragmented. In addition, it is unclear how different contexts should alter the best practices for open government.
This course explores the foundations and objectives of Open Government and examines current developments, including the opening and reuse of governmental data such as the release of data by governments in America and Europe.
This course will empower you by helping you grasp the key principles surrounding open government.
The topics of the course are applied to concrete cases, which you will be asked to analyze and discuss with your peers.

This course studies fundamental design and implementation ideas in the engineering of operating systems. Lectures are based on a study of UNIX and research papers.
